Van Fleet Water Production Facility Improvements <br /> BVP 13-196 <br /> Pursuant to U.S. Executive Order 11246, as amended, you are advised that under the provisions <br /> of government contracting, and in accordance with the Executive Order, certain contractors and <br /> subcontractors are obliged to take affirmative action to provide equal opportunity without regard <br /> to race, creed, color, national origin, age or sex. <br /> 24) Additions/Revision/Deletions <br /> Additions, revisions or deletions to any part of the Solicitation that changese the intent of the <br /> Solicitation will cause the Submittal to be non-responsive and the Submittal will not be <br /> considered. The Procurement Director shall be the sole judge as to whether or not any addition, <br /> revision, or deletion changes the intent of the Solicitation. <br /> 25) Unit Prices <br /> Unless otherwise stated in this document unit prices will be utilized to adjust the total <br /> compensation due the successful Contractor based on actual quantities provided as part of the <br /> Work and verified by the County. Significant changes in quantities, including deletion of any <br /> particular item are possible. Negotiation of unit prices shall not be allowed except under <br /> conditions of Force Majeure, where those conditions are sufficiently documented to the full <br /> satisfaction of the County. No other claim to negotiate unit prices will be considered. <br /> 26) Additional County Contract Termination Rights <br /> In addition to any other termination rights stated in the Contract, the County may immediately <br /> terminate this Contract upon the occurrence of any of the following events: <br /> (i)The Contractor is found to have submitted a false certification to the County with <br /> respect to whether the Contractor: <br /> (A) is on the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in Sudan List, <br /> (B) is on the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in the Iran Petroleum Energy <br /> Section List <br /> (as both such lists are created pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 215.473); or <br /> (C) has business operations in Cuba or Syria; or <br /> (ii)the Contractor: <br /> (A) is placed on the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in Sudan List; or <br /> (B) is placed on the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in the Iran Petroleum <br /> Energy Section List; or <br /> (C) engages in business operations in Cuba or Syria <br /> 98 <br /> o ;L <br />
