The barrier In question Is <br />located adjacent to your property on the street known as 78th 'Avenue <br />(Williams Street) which Is a platted road right-of-way that Is 35 feet <br />wide and runs along the south boundary of A.A. Berry Subdivision and <br />Roseland Lake No. 2 Subdivision.�� <br />If you have, In fact, placed a barrier In the County 'road Bight -of -way, <br />It Is to be removed Immediately. Davis, Public Works Dir, . ector, <br />dated July 5, 1991. <br />7 <br />. In response to your questions stated in the referenced* memorandum; <br />-...-Please note the following: <br />1) -There have been no permits issued for this closing. If the <br />County Engineering Department authorizes a road closing, it <br />would be in direct connection to a Utility project, road <br />construction project, or right of way clearing project and <br />authorized by both the Engineering Department and Traffic <br />Engineering. Such authorization is limited to a short period <br />of time and rarely exceeds eight to twelve hours in any given <br />day. Any other road closing requests must be authorized <br />through the Board of County Commissioners. <br />2) The street known as 78th Avenue (Williams Street) is a platted <br />road right of way that is 35 feet wide and runs along the <br />south boundary of A. A. Berry Subdivision and Roseland Lake <br />No. 2 Subdivision. The County currently has a maintained <br />drainage swale system located within 78th Avenue right of way <br />as shown on the attached map." All other areas of this right <br />of way are not currently maintained. <br />3) Yes.
