ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously authorized the <br />replacement of skids, final design and construction of <br />a brine treatment system at the South County RO Plant, <br />and also authorized the Chairman to execute Work <br />Authorization with CDM for engineering services in the <br />amount of $300,989, all as recommended by staff. <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES WORK AUTHORIZATION <br />DATE: /G' - /S —9/WORK AUTHORIZATION NO. Ito FOR CONSULTING SERVICES <br />COUNTY NO. CAMP DRESSER & MCKEE INC. CDM PROJECT NO. <br />(CONSULTANT) <br />I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Indian'River County Phase II Expansion of the South County RO Plant <br />This expansion will replace the existing 2.0 mgd high pressure DuPont <br />system with 3.0 mgd of low pressure softening membranes. This, <br />combined with the Phase I system and 1.0 mgd of well water blend will <br />give the County 7.0 mgd of water treatment capacity at the South <br />County RO Plant. <br />II. SCOPE -OF SERVICES <br />The Engineer will prepare the preliminary design report; final plans <br />and specifications; bidding services, permitting assistance; general <br />services during construction; and resident inspection for the Phase II <br />Expansion of the South County RO Plant. <br />III. CONSULTING ENGINEER INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Workers Compensation Insurance in accordance with Florida <br />Statutes. <br />B. Comprehensive and Automotive Liability with a minimum coverage of <br />$100,000/$300,000 per occurrence for bodily injury or accidental <br />death. <br />C. Comprehensive General Liability with a minimum limit of <br />$100,000/$300,000 covering property damage. <br />D. Liability for Property Damage, while operating motor vehicle, with <br />minimum limits of $100,000 per occurrence. <br />E. Contractual Liability including limits established for Items IIIB, <br />C, and D above. <br />F. Umbrella coverage, excess liability with minimum limits of <br />$100,000 per occurrence. <br />IV.
