BOOK <br />0 A mutually acceptable management plan for the <br />property shall be developed within one (1) <br />year from • the effective date of this <br />agreement. The SJRWMD will be primarily <br />responsible for drafting the portion of the <br />plan relating to wetland management, with the <br />County primarily responsible for drafting the <br />plan for areas outside of the wetland. <br />• The County shall bear cost of the planning, <br />construction, operation and maintenance of any <br />recreational facility established on the <br />property. <br />The Intergovernmental Management Agreement was reviewed and <br />discussed at the County Land Acquisition Advisory Committee (LAAC) <br />meeting of September 25, 1991. LAAC voted to authorize staff to <br />bring the agreement to'the Board for approval and execution. <br />The draft agreement •has been reviewed and approved by the county <br />risk manager and county attorney staff for sufficiency. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners authorize <br />the Board Chairman to execute the Intergovernmental Management <br />Agreement with SJRWMD for the Oslo/FMEL property. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />authorized the Chairman to execute the <br />Intergovernmental Management Agreement with SJRWMD <br />for the Oslo/FMEL property, as recommended by staff. <br />SAID AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />M.
