Archeological and Historical Conservancy, Inc. was the overwhelming <br />choice of the selection committee because of the firm's knowledge <br />and experience in archaeological resource surveying throughout <br />Florida; their willingness and flexibility in working with the <br />public, volunteers and county staff throughout the project; and <br />their acknowledgement of the unique characteristics of Indian River <br />County's archaeological resources. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners accept <br />the consultant selection committee's ranking and authorize the <br />staff to negotiate a contract and detailed scope of services with <br />Archeological and Historical Conservancy, Inc. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />authorized staff to negotiate a contract and <br />detailed scope of services with Archeological and <br />Historical Conservancy, Inc., as recommended by <br />staff. <br />N.
