The issue of an effective date for the separate <br />contract is an issue to be bargained at the table. <br />Although staff is informally utilizing the position titles referenced <br />in the Emergency Services Rules and Regulations which were approved <br />by the Board of County Commissioners on October 8, 1991, the <br />positions will not be formalized, funded, or effective until October <br />1, 1992._ Therefore, the position titles/classification as authorized <br />in the position control listing are reflected in the petition rather <br />than the informal titles being utilized by staf f at this time for <br />operational purposes only. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />Recognition -Acknowledgment Petition and the accompanying resolution <br />authorizing the Chairman to execute the referenced documents. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved the <br />Recognition -Acknowledgment Petition, as recommended by <br />staff, and adopted Resolution 91-176, recognizing the <br />Vero Beach.
