Gentile C. -T <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing for the Paving & Drainage Improvements to: <br />1) 11th Street S.E., 11th Place S.E., and Madrid <br />Avenue in Granada Gardens Subdivision <br />2) 83rd Place, 84th Street and Tropical Avenue in <br />Graves Addition to Wabasso Subdivision. <br />DATE: February 13, 1992 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On January 28, 1992, the Board of County Commissioners adopted <br />Resolution* No. 92-14 and 92-16 providing for certain paving and <br />drainage improvements to: <br />_ 3 1) 11th Street S.E., 11th Place S.E., and Madrid Avenue in <br />Granada Gardens Subdivision <br />2) 83rd Place, 84th Street and Tropical Avenue in Graves Addition <br />to Wabasso Subdivision. <br />This was a Public Works Department initiated public improvement <br />assessment. Attached are the previous agenda items and Board of <br />County Commissioner minutes directing staff to go ahead with an <br />involuntary assessment for these projects. <br />On January 28, 1992, the Board of County Commissioners also <br />adopted Resolutions 92-15 and 92-17 setting the date and time for <br />a Public Hearing to discuss the advisability, cost and amount of <br />the assessment against each property owner. This hearing is <br />scheduled for February 25, 1992. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />assessment roll, and confirming resolution with changes, if any, <br />made after input at the February 25, 1992, Public Hearing. Revised <br />confirming resolution and assessment roll will be forwarded to <br />Chairman of the Board for signature. The Assessment Roll and <br />assessment plat are on file with the Clerk to the Board of County <br />Commissioner's office. <br />Kul <br />
