SC -13.05 OWNER May Stop the Work <br />SC -13.05.A. Delete paragraph GC -13.05.A in its entirety and insert the following paragra•h in its <br />place: <br />A. If the Work is defective, or CONTRACTOR fails to supply sufficient skilled <br />workers or suitable materials or equipment, or fails to comply with permit <br />requirements, or fails to comply with the technical specifications, or fails to <br />perform the Work in such a way that the completed Work will confo to the <br />Contract Documents, OWNER may order CONTRACTOR to stop the Wo i, or any <br />portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated; howe er, this <br />right of OWNER to stop the Work shall not give rise to any duty on the part of <br />OWNER to exercise this right for the benefit of CONTRACTO', any <br />Subcontractor, any Supplier, any other individual or entity, or any suret for, or <br />employee or agent of any of them. <br />SC -13.07 Correction Period <br />SC -13.07 A. Delete the first sentence of paragraph GC -13.07.A in its entirety and in the <br />following sentence in its place <br />A. If within one year after the date of Final Completion or such longer period of time <br />as may be prescribed by Laws or Regulations or by the terms of any a•plicable <br />special guarantee required by the Contract Documents or by any specific p ovision <br />of the Contract Documents, any Work is found to be defective, or if the pair of <br />any damages to the land or areas made available for CONTRACTOR's use by <br />OWNER or permitted by Laws and Regulations as contemplated in pa agraph <br />6.11.A is found to be defective, CONTRACTOR shall promptly, without cost to <br />OWNER and in accordance with OWNER's written instructions: (i) rep.: it such <br />defective land or areas, or (ii) correct such defective Work or, if the defecti e Work <br />has been rejected by OWNER, remove it from the Project and replace it wi h Work <br />that is not defective, and (iii) satisfactorily correct or repair or remove and replace <br />any damage to other Work, to the work of others or other land or areas esulting <br />therefrom. <br />SC -13.07 B. Delete paragraph GC -13.07.8 in its entirety and insert the following senten e in its <br />place <br />B. In special circumstances where a particular item of equipment is placed in ontinu- <br />ous service before Final Completion of all the Work, the correction period for that <br />item may start to run from an earlier date if so provided in the Specificatio s or by <br />Written Amendment. <br />SC -14.02 Progress Payments <br />SC -14.02.6.5. Delete paragraph GC -14.02.8.5.d in its entirety and insert the following p.ragraph <br />in its place: <br />d. ENGINEER has actual knowledge of the occurrence of any of the events <br />enumerated in paragraph 15.02.A; or <br />SC -14.02.6.5. Add the following sentences at the end of paragraph GC -14.02.8.5: <br />e.
