Assess the need and feasibility of issuing emergency food <br /> stamps. <br /> 2. Continuing Actions <br /> ESF #11 will: <br /> a. Continue to monitor food and water needs. <br /> b. Assess special food concerns of the impacted residents. <br /> C. Establish logistical links with local organizations involved in <br /> long-term congregate meal services. <br /> V. RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> A. Primary Agency <br /> The primary co-agencies for this ESF are the Salvation Army and the Indian <br /> River Co. Department of Emergency Services/Emergency Management <br /> Division. Their responsibilities are to: <br /> 1. Determine the availability of USDA foods. <br /> 2. Coordinate with the EOC and ESF#6 (Mass Care)to determine food, <br /> water, and ice needs for the population in the affected areas. <br /> 3. Coordinate requests for the approval of emergency food stamps for <br /> qualifying households within the affected area. <br /> 4. Provide appropriate information to ESF#5(Information and Planning) <br /> on a regular basis. <br /> 5.
