7. Referring all volunteers to the Volunteer Reception Center located at <br /> the United Way of Indian River County. <br /> 8. Maintaining contact with the ESF #15 desk at the EOC. <br /> 9. Tracking resource requests and matching with client need. <br /> 10. Maintaining a current roster of support agencies/personnel. <br /> 11. Maintaining a list of support organizations' capabilities and resources <br /> for use in response and recovery actions. <br /> 12. Coordinating a need for volunteers with the Volunteer Reception <br /> Center. <br /> 11. POLICIES <br /> A. The resources available to ESF#15 will be utilized to assist individuals with <br /> unmet needs. Basic policies which will determine operational procedures <br /> are: <br /> 1. Determining the areas with the greatest need will be based upon the <br /> needs assessment provided by the initial and subsequent damage <br /> assessments provided by the Indian River County Emergency <br /> Management Division, and input from the American Red Cross. <br /> 2. Public information materials regarding resources needed/not needed <br /> will be distributed. <br /> 3. A complete database will be maintained to assure prompt allocation of <br /> available resources. <br /> 4. Once local resources have been exhausted, State assistance will be <br /> requested through the Emergency Operations Center. <br /> 111. SITUATION <br /> A. Disaster Condition <br /> A significant natural or man made event which is beyond the capability of <br /> local jurisdictions to respond.
