Assignment Standard Operating Guide, the Indian River GIS <br /> Departmentwill provide a briefing to the PDA teams at the EOC. The <br /> briefing will include a 'review of their roles and responsibilities, <br /> assessment criteria, overall PDA process and geographic team <br /> assignments. Teams will be issued a tablet with damage assessment <br /> software, maps and forms, PDA reports will be submitted (using the <br /> Field Team Preliminary Observation of Damage form attached to this <br /> Annex and identified as Attachment 2) by the following agencies, <br /> which have support roles in the Initial Damage Assessment: <br /> a. ESF #1 (Transportation): <br /> Assessment of School Board assets; <br /> b. ESF #3 (Public Works and Engineering): <br /> Assessment of infrastructure; <br /> C. ESF #4 and #9 (Fire Fighting and Search & Rescue): <br /> Assessment of public safety. <br /> d. ESF #5 (Information and Planning): <br /> Assessment of all residential and business property; <br /> e. ESF #6 (Mass Care): <br /> Assessment of all residential and business property; <br /> f. ESF #8 (Public Health): <br /> Assessment of health care agencies. <br /> g. ESF #13 (Military Support— Civil Air Patrol): <br /> Assessment via aerial reconnaissance. <br /> h. ESF #16 (Law Enforcement): <br /> Assessment of public safety. <br /> i. ESF #18 (Business & Industry): <br /> Assessment of damage to local business. <br /> The assumption is that all of the above listed support agencies will <br /> generally have the first access to the county prior to the issuance of <br /> an All-Clear to the residents. <br /> The Emergency Management Division will work closely with the Indian <br /> River 'County GIS Department and Property Appraiser's office to <br /> assure accurate damage assessment information.
