" 3 U L 0719,E <br />1i00K , <br />On November 15, 1990s, and October 10, 1991, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission granted preliminary plat approval for the Savannah Oaks <br />Subdivision, Units I and II. The developers, Tom Schlitt and Mark <br />Fetzer, Inc., obtained Land Development Permits for the <br />subdivisions and have completed construction of the subdivisions. <br />The developers are now requesting final plat approval for Unit I <br />and Unit II and have submitted the following: <br />1. A plat in conformance with each of the two originally approved <br />preliminary plats; <br />2. An Engineer's Certified Cost Estimate for the Completed <br />Required Subdivision Improvements; <br />3. A warranty/Maintenance Agreement to guarantee the performance <br />of the completed and publicly dedicated subdivision <br />improvements; and <br />4. A security agreement, acceptable to the County Attorney's <br />Office, to guarantee the submitted Warranty/Maintenance <br />Agreement. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The required subdivision improvements have been completed by the <br />developers, -and the developers have obtained a Certificate of <br />Completion for Unit I,a�nd for Unit II from the Public Works <br />Department. The developers have submitted a Warranty/Maintenance <br />Agreement and posted suitable security, approved by the County <br />Attorney's Office, to guarantee the Warranty/Maintenance Agreement. <br />With these documents, the developers have complied with the <br />appropriate requirements to obtain final plat approval. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant final <br />plat approval for both the Savannah Oaks Subdivision Unit I and <br />Savannah Oaks Subdivision Unit II and accept the <br />Warranty/Maintenance Agreement and accompanying posted security <br />instrument. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />final plat for the Savannah Oaks Subdivision Units I <br />and II, and accepted the Warranty/Maintenance <br />Agreement and accompanying posted security <br />instruments, as recommended by staff. <br />COPY OF WARRANTY, GUARANTY AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />8 <br />
