Howard, Construction <br />Coordination Manager, Indian River County, 180127 Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. <br />• Maintenance of Traffic—Jeanne Bresett, Indian River County, Traffic Division, 180127 Street, <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960. <br />PROJECT CONSULTANTS: <br />(ROADWAY) Indian River County, Engineering Division (In-house design) <br />(BRIDGE) Bridge Design Associates <br />(Construction Engineering and Inspection) <br />Indian River County, Engineering Division <br />Construction Management Staff <br />Engineer's Estimate — overall total project estimate is $1,250,000, with $620,000 estimated for the <br />bridge itself (not including rip rap). <br />Maintenance of Traffic: <br />1. Contractor shall submit a Maintenance of Traffic Plan (does not need to be sealed by a P.E.) to the <br />Indian River County, Traffic Engineering Division for approval. <br />2. MOT is covered in Section 102 of the specifications, with two scenarios provided. For the bridge <br />construction, 13th Street S.W. over the Indian River Farms Water Control District Lateral B Canal <br />may be closed to through traffic for a period not to exceed 120 calendar days. For the 84" <br />concrete pipe construction, under 58th Avenue in the Indian River Farms Water Control District <br />Lateral B-8 Canal may be closed to through traffic for a period not to exceed 7 calendar days. The <br />road closures for the bridge construction and 84" concrete pipe construction shall not be done at <br />the same time. The maintenance of traffic plan and the detour shall be in place prior to the road <br />closure (See Appendix C Maintenance of Traffic/ Detour Plan). Liquidated damages in the amount <br />of $1,532.00 will apply for each calendar day that expires after the above specified closures. <br />3. The Road closures for each phase may not be done at the same time. <br />4. Access to all residences and emergency vehicles shall be maintained at all times. <br />5.
