PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />The proposed improvements to Old Dixie Highway consist of refurbishing (full depth reclamation) from the <br />I.R.F.W.C.D. North Relief Canal to 71st Street with the addition of 4 foot wide paved shoulders, including new <br />asphalt surface and structural courses, pavement markings and an additional turn lane for the North County <br />Charter School. This is an F.D.O.T. Contractor shall submit a Maintenance of Traffic Plan (does not need to be sealed by a P.E.) to the <br />Indian River County, Traffic Engineering Division for approval. <br />2. At the Pre-bid meeting, the County was requested to provide a detailed Maintenance ofTraffic (MOT) <br />/ Detour plan. The Detour will be done in two phases which will allow a Phase I road closure between <br />the Indian River Farms Water Control District North Relief Canal and 69th street. Phase II will allow a <br />road closure between 69th Street and 71g Street. Attached is the Phase I and II MOT/Detour criteria. <br />3. The Road closures for each phase may be done in segments or in its entirety.
