(2) Medical or dental clinics. 1 <br />(3) Medical -related offices= including, but not limited <br />to, offices for physicians, surgeons, dentists, home <br />health care agencies, blood banks, and psychiatrists <br />and psychologists. <br />(4) Nursing homes, rest homes, convalescent homes, <br />homes for the aged, total care facilities, and similar <br />type facilities. <br />(5) Medical educational institutions, medical research, <br />experimental and testing laboratories. <br />(6) Medical, surgical, and dental supply houses. <br />(7) Apothecaries and prescription shops. <br />(6) Ambulance services. <br />(9) Residential facilities incidental to a permitted use. <br />(10) Artificial limb and brace establishments, and thera- <br />peutic establishments. <br />(11) Florist shops. <br />(12) Optical firms. <br />(13) Greeting card shops. <br />(14) Book stores. <br />(15) Daycare facilities for both adults or juveniles. <br />(16) Accessory structures and uses customarily incidental <br />to those principally permitted uses herein. <br />(c) Special Exceptions. The following uses may be <br />permitted by the County Planning and Zoning Commission after <br />site plan approval according to Section 23. fermis•ion from the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission will be based on their determina- <br />tion that the proposed use, with such conditions and safeguards <br />as are appropriate, will be compatible with the surrounding land <br />uses, that the proposed use enhances the quality of the Medical <br />District, and that the proposed use is in general harmony with <br />the overall character of the district. <br />(1) Restaurants but expressly excluding any "curb service", <br />"drive-in", "drive-thru", or similar type <br />establishments. <br />(2) General office uses and office buildings. <br />(3) Public buildings and uses. <br />(4) Multiple -Family Dwellings. <br />(5) Retail sales facilities customarily incidental to <br />medical -related uses. <br />(d) Building Height Limit. No building or structure <br />shall exceed thirty-five (35) feet in height, exclusive of <br />elevator shafts and/or air conditioning condensing units and/or <br />cooling towers, except as provided in Section 25, paragraphs (a) <br />and (p) of this ordinance. <br />(e) Minimum Lot Size and Floor Area. The minimum lot area <br />shall be 20,000 square feet. The minimum lot width shall be 100 <br />feet. Additionally, every lot or parcel of land on which living <br />quarters are located shall provide the following: <br />-2- <br />
