AUG 2E 1992 - <br />BOOK L; d [Auj <br />Attorney Vitunac advised that the new ordinance, if adopted, <br />would be effective when it is sent out today by certified mail, <br />because it is a different rule for emergency ordinances. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner_ Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to today's Agenda. <br />PRESENTATION HONORING RETIRING EMPLOYEE CHARLES INGLE <br />Chairman Eggert read aloud the following presentation award <br />honoring Charles F. Ingle on his retirement: <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />CHARLES F. INGLE <br />Charles Ingle announces his retirement from the fire service <br />and the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners <br />effective August 27, 1992. <br />Charles Ingle , originally from Manchester, Alabama, moved to <br />Florida in 1952. <br />He was originally employed on November 16, 1967 as a <br />firefighter for the City of Vero Beach. On October 1, 1985 <br />the Fire District was transferred to Indian River County and <br />Mr. Ingle became a county employee. <br />Charles Ingle was subsequently promoted on December 2, 1971 to <br />a Driver/Engineer. On February 29, 1976 he was promoted to <br />Lieutenant which is the rank he currently holds. <br />Charles Engle has consistently L:-=onstrated consummate skills <br />and impeccable personal standards of performance in the fire <br />service for Indian River County. Mr. Ingle will be sorely <br />missed by the firefighters and all the Emergency Services <br />staff. <br />The Board of County Commissioners wishes to express their <br />appreciation to Charles Ingle for his dedication and exemplary <br />service to Indian River County. The County Commissioners wish <br />him the very best in all his future endeavors. <br />Chairman Eggert presented the Retirement Award to Mr. Ingle, <br />who expressed his appreciation and noted that it has been a great <br />25 years and he has a lot of special memories. <br />E <br />
