ML Engineering, Inc. - Structural Treasure Coast Engineering - Electrical Farley Engineering, LLC - Gate System Lucido & Associates - Landscaping OTHER ISSUES • Review and comment with questions and clarifications as soon as possible, none accepted beyond 10 days prior to bid opening (Sunday May 14, 2017). • The Notice to Proceed - Tentative issuance is TBD (Late June). Dependent upon BOCCApproval and Contract execution. • PERMITS — Building permits to be obtained by Contractor, NPDES (should be under the threshold to require NPDES) • All Staging shall occur within the confines of the existing parking area unless otherwise arranged by the Contractor. Any staging within City of Vero Beach right of way will require permission in writing. (either via permit or in writing from the COVB Public Works Director) • The Contractor's staff will only be required to go through additional screening for personnel who are required to enter the courthouse building. This will require several days for pre -clearance and shall be coordinated with the IRC Project Manager. • Contractor shall be responsible for providing for parking facilities for their work staff. (This is downtown City of Vero Beach so parking will be a challenge successful bidders will need to plan for that.) • Any impacts to 15th Avenue right-of-way/traffic will require coordination with City of Vero Beach Public Works. Any large equipment being used or parked in the travel way of 15th Avenue shall be accompanied by flagmen. This will be enforced as 15th Avenue is a heavily traveled street. QUESTIONS RECEIVED TO DATE: 1. Request for Information: Please provide the specification for the gate operators. a. Hysecurity Model Operator specifications provided (See Hardcopy Package). This shall be provided as part of the meeting minutes' package for the pre-bid meeting. 2. What is the finish for the gates? a. Answer: Powder Coated DISCUSSION Will there be a point of contact to integrate the new security system with the existing system? Rich Szpyrka: The contact person will be Manny Cabo the Indian River County Telecommunications Manager. Will the judges be parking elsewhere and be informed by the County of the project? Yes, the judges have been informed that entire parking area will be needed. It is possible the they will be parked directly across the street in dedicated parking spaces. Will there be information regarding everyone from today's meeting provided on DemandStar for us to have access to? The sign -in sheet will be part of the addendum that is issued.
