1993 TOURISM STRATEGIC PLAN <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated March 5, 1993: <br />TO: John W. Tippin, Chairman - Tourist Development Council <br />FROM: 4-14- William G. Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: March 5, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: 1993 Tourism Strategic Plan <br />Attached is an amended contract with Regional Research Associates, Inc. <br />The contract is for the development of a strategic plan for tourism as <br />recommended by the Tourist Development Council on February 24, 1993, and <br />as funded by the Board of County Commissioners by adoption of the fiscal <br />year 1992/1993 budget. <br />This contract can be brought to the full Commission under your matters on <br />any_ regular agenda. <br />ON MOTION by <br />Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by <br />Commissioner <br />Tippin, <br />the Board <br />unanimously <br />authorized the <br />Chairman <br />to execute a <br />contract with <br />the Tourist Development <br />Council for the development <br />of a strategic <br />plan for <br />tourism. <br />CONTRACT IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE BEACH AND SHORE PRESERVATION ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated March 10, 1993: <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />RE: <br />DATE: <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Commissioner Fran Adams <br />Resolution establishing Beach and Shore Preservation <br />Advisory Committee <br />March 10, 1993 <br />I respectfully request that the Board of County <br />Commissioners approve and adopt the attached Resolution <br />establishing a Beach and Shore Preservation Advisory Committee. <br />43 <br />MAR 16 1993 800K 89 pAu <br />L .A <br />
