JUN - 8 1991, <br />BOOK 89 c-A,u-L7q,.3 <br />The parade is proposed to take place on Indian River Drive f ram the <br />south end at U.S. 1 north to Davis Street. <br />The committee is requesting permission to close Indian River Drive <br />from the south end at U.S. 1, north to Roseland Road and CR 512 <br />from just east of Super America's driveway to Indian River Drive <br />from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM on July 3, 1993. This closure will ensure <br />the safety of the parade participants and will lessen any potential <br />vehicular conflict with the participants. <br />Also, the committee is requesting to close Indian River Drive from <br />Cleveland Stieet to Harrison Street and CR 512 from Just- east of <br />Super America's driveway to Indian River Drive from 10:00 AN, july <br />3, 1993 to 6:00 PM,, July 4, 1993. Emergency access will be <br />maintained at all times. Indian River County Traffic Engineering <br />will supply the proper barricades and deliver them to the site. <br />Advanced publicity in local newspapers will be employed to inform <br />citizens of the event. <br />ALTMMATTVM ANn AMMYSIS <br />The request for approval f rom the Indian River County Board of <br />County Commissioners to hold the Fourth of July Parade and <br />Festivities along Indian River Drive as described above is the <br />proposal bef ore the Board at this time The Board may grant or <br />deny this request. <br />ZLISY;v ki 0;� W "ION 411 � Io I,( <br />Staf f recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />requests provided that the Fourth of July Committee maintain access <br />to emergency vehicles atall times and that all points of closure <br />are manned as agreed for the duration of the event. <br />Liaison activities will be maintained between the committee, Indian <br />River County Sheriff's Department, City of Sebastian Police <br />Department, Indian River County Emergency Management, City of <br />Sebastian, and Indian River County Traffic Engineering. <br />ON NOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />the request of the Fourth of July Festival and <br />Parade Committee, under the conditions set forth in <br />staff's recommendation. <br />NEW HORIZONS XOBILE HOME PARK SUBREGIONAL LIFT STATION ENGINEERING <br />AND CONSTRUCTION <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated June 1, 1993: <br />40 <br />
