Contracts for Construction and Letters of Credit for the <br />remaining required improvements (sidewalks, and seeding and <br />mulching) to guarantee completion of the remaining <br />improvements. <br />6. Certified Engineer's Cost Estimates for the remaining required <br />sidewalk and seeding and mulching improvements (basis for <br />figuring the security amounts for the Contracts for <br />Construction). <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The required improvements, except for sidewalks and seeding and <br />mulching, have been constructed by the developer. Public Works has <br />issued a certificate of completion which certifies that all <br />improvements, except for the referenced sidewalk and seeding and <br />mulching work, has been satisfactorily completed. The developer <br />has submitted a Warranty/Maintenance Agreement and letter of credit <br />to guarantee performance of the constructed improvements. The <br />developer has also submitted Contracts for Construction for the <br />Required Improvements and letters of credit for the remaining <br />sidewalk and seeding and mulching work. All of the above <br />referenced documents have been reviewed and approved by the County <br />Attorney's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners: <br />1. Grant final plat approval for the Colonial Gardens, Phase 2, <br />Subdivision; <br />2. Accept the submitted Warranty/Maintenance Agreement and <br />corresponding letter of credit. <br />3. Authorize the Chairman to execute the submitted Contracts for <br />Construction, and accept the corresponding letters of credit. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously granted <br />final plat approval for Colonial Gardens <br />Subdivision, Phase 2, as set out in staff's <br />recommendation. <br />THREE CONTRACTS ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />10 <br />
