ON -MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />Work Authorization No. 1 with Masteller and Moler, <br />Inc., as recommended by staff. <br />WORK AUTHORIZATION NO. 1 IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF <br />THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated October 27, 1993: <br />TO: Board of County <br />11Commissioners <br />e2,6K�V V <br />FROM: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: October 27, 1993 <br />RE: LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION <br />The Indian River County Legislative Delegation Meeting will be on <br />November 17, 1993, at 8:30 a.m. in the Vero Beach City Hall. Indian <br />River County has reserved a spot on the agenda to discuss matters of <br />concern to the County. <br />Although this year there are no Special Acts requiring presentation <br />before the delegation, the delegation is prepared to accept comments on <br />subjects of interest to the County which could be corrected by General <br />Acts filed by a`member of the delegation itself. <br />Indian River County, as a member of the Treasure Coast Council of Local <br />Governments (TCCOLG), represented by Commissioner John Tippin, has <br />approved a slate of the ten issues attached to this memo. <br />In addition to the issues presented by the TCCOLG, the County may <br />present other items on its own. Items which Commissioners have <br />expressed interest in include small business economic aid, affordable <br />housing, environmental mitigation, and getting regional planning <br />councils out of mediation of local government disputes. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: Request direction from the Board on which items it <br />may wish to present to the Local Legislative Delegation on November 17 <br />in addition to those being presented by the TCCOLG. <br />45 <br />BOOK 90 FacF 937 <br />NOV ® 21993 <br />� I <br />
