J <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously <br />authorized staff to advertise a request for <br />proposals (RFP) to provide a sketch and other <br />documentation showing right-of-way that results from <br />deed reservations in Murphy Act lands in Indian <br />River County, as recommended by staff. <br />VERO LAKE ESTATES - REQUEST FOR GRADING 106TH AND 105TH AVENUES <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated December 17, 1993® <br />TO: James E. Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Request for Grading 106th Avenue and 105th <br />Avenue in Vero Lake Estates <br />REF. LETTERS: 1) Danny Collins, Kathleen Russell dated Nov. 19, 1993 <br />2) Mr. & Mrs. Hunter dated Oct. 12, 1993 <br />DATE: December 17, 1993 FILE: 1056106.AGN <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />During the regular May 15, 1991 meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, <br />staff recommended that the County assume grading of approximately 13 miles of <br />additional unpaved roads in the Vero Lake Estates Subdivision. Various roads <br />have been added since that time with the approval of the Board. <br />At this time, various property.owners along 106th Avenue between 81st Street <br />and 83rd Street and 105th Avenue between 88th Street and 89th Street have <br />requested that the County grade 106th Avenue and 105th Avenue in Vero Lake <br />Estates Subdivision. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Staff has reviewed these requests and performed the standard numerical <br />evaluation of criteria for acceptance of grading unimproved roads. Staff <br />usually recommends that a minimum of 75 points be assigned to justify <br />grading. In this case, a minimum of 75,.points was assigned. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Since the minimum of 75 points was met, staff recommends the addition of <br />106th Avenue between 81st Street and 83rd Street and 105th Avenue between <br />88th Street and 89th Street be added to the grading route in Vero Lake <br />Estates. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously added <br />106th Avenue between 81st and 83rd Streets and 105th <br />Avenue between 88th and 89th Streets to the grading <br />route in Vero Lake Estates, as recommended by staff. <br />Fes] <br />JAN 41994 Boos <br />I <br />
