RESOLUTION NO. 94-41 <br />WHEREAS, state -imposed impact fee regulations could force local govern- <br />ments to hike property taxes to pay for facilities and services demanded by <br />the ever-growing numbers of new residents and presently funded through <br />impact fees; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />urges the legislative delegation, the Florida Senate and the Florida House of <br />Representatives, and the Governor of the State of Florida to preserve the <br />full and complete home rule authority of local governments to impose impact <br />fees and thus to oppose legislation restricting or limiting local government <br />use of impact fees. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Adams, and the <br />5 <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Macht, and, upon being put to a vote, <br />the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman John W.
