Finney, SRA �. <br />County Right -of -Way Agent <br />SUBJECT: Oslo Road, Additional Right -of -Way; Parcel #129, Elbert <br />and Shirley Mae McDougald Property <br />COUNTY PROJECT #: 8919 <br />DATE: August 3, 1994 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Additional right-of-way on the south side of Oslo Road is needed to <br />continue the widening of Oslo Road further to the west from the top <br />of the ridge to the canal. <br />The property owners have executed a contract for $3,591.00 for the <br />1,355 square foot, CG zoned parcel. The purchase price is $2.301 <br />per square foot which is the price per square foot the county paid <br />for all other CG zoned parcels on Oslo Road. Also in the purchase <br />price are five large trees at $50.00 each tree and attorney's fee <br />of $225.00. <br />No appraisals were obtained on the additional parcel because of the <br />current sales and recent purchases of adjoining parcels at $2.301 <br />and the additional cost and time element. <br />There are no engineers or appraisers fees to be paid by Indian <br />River County. <br />The contract is itemized as follows: LAND $3,116.00 <br />5 TREES 250.00 <br />ATTORNEY'S FEE 225.00 <br />TOTAL $3,591.00 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff requests the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />$3,591.00 total contract price, and authorize the Chairman to <br />execute the contract. <br />FUNDING :- _ <br />Funding to be from Account No. 101-156-541-067.43, Traffic Impact <br />Fee, District 6 <br />18 <br />August 16, 1994 <br />
