BOOK 93 PAGE 504 <br />Change Order No. 1 was approved on August 23, 1994 and was for a <br />reduction of $20,689.20 (see attached agenda item and minutes). The <br />project required several minor items to be added prior to final <br />completion, and they are listed on the attached Change Order No. 2. <br />The cost addition to the contract amounts to $5,676.00. This will <br />make the final contract amount $609,670.80. We will recover <br />$11,455.00 from the Horizon Outlet Mall (see attached agenda item), _ <br />which results in a total contract reduction of 4.23%. At the same time, a survey service contract with <br />Masteller, Moler and Reed, Inc.,. was approved for the project at a <br />cost of $27,310.00 (see attached agenda item and minutes). <br />As utility locations have been secured and meetings with the DOT <br />have progressed, the need- for several design changes has become <br />apparent.
