Project closeout activities. <br /> 1.04 PROJECT MEETINGS <br /> A. Pre-Construction Meeting <br /> 1. A Pre-Construction Meeting will be scheduled as soon as possible after the award <br /> of the contract. The Engineer's Representative will compile minutes of the meet- <br /> ing,and will furnish a copy of the minutes to the Contractor and each person pre- <br /> sent. The Contractor may make and distribute such other copies as he wishes. <br /> 2. Attendance: Contractor Project Manager, Job Superintendent and Job Foreman, <br /> Owner, Engineer's Representative, manufacturer's representatives, installers of <br /> related work and all other persons concerned with the installation and perfor- <br /> mance. The Contractor shall also provide three (3) local telephone numbers, <br /> which may be used to contact the Contractor or his authorized representative in <br /> the event of an emergency after normal business hours. <br /> 3. Minimum Agenda: Organizational arrangement of Contractor's forces and per- <br /> sonnel,and those of subcontractors,materials suppliers,and the Project Manager; <br /> channels and procedures for communication; construction schedule, including <br /> sequence of critical work; contract documents, including distribution of required <br /> copies of Drawings and revisions; processing of Shop Drawings and other data <br /> submitted to the Project Manager for review; rules and regulations governing <br /> performance of the work and procedures for safety, first aid, security, quality <br /> control,housekeeping and related matters. <br /> B. Progress Meetings <br /> 1. The Contractor shall attend bi-monthly progress meetings for the purpose of in- <br /> forming the Owner and the Engineer regarding the status of the project. The En- <br /> gineer will compile minutes of the meeting, and will furnish a copy of the <br /> minutes to the Contractor and each person present. The Contractor may make <br /> and distribute such other copies as he wishes. <br /> 2. Attendance: Owner, Engineer, Contractor, Job Superintendent, material Suppli- <br /> er, and Subcontractors, as appropriate. Each representative shall be thoroughly <br /> familiar with the status of the project and shall be prepared to discuss and act up- <br /> on any situations, which may arise. The time, date and location of these meet- <br /> ings will be established during pre-construction conference. The Contractor shall <br /> provide an updated job progress schedule at each weekly meeting. <br /> 3. Minimum Agenda: Review of work progress; field observations, problems, and <br /> decisions; identification of problems which impede planned progress; mainte- <br /> nance of progress schedule; corrective measures to regain projected schedules; <br /> planned progress during succeeding work period; coordination of projected pro- <br /> gress; maintenance of quality and work standards; processing of field decisions <br /> and Change Orders; effect of proposed changes on progress, schedule, and coor- <br /> dination;other business relating to work. <br /> C. Substantial Completion Inspection Meeting <br /> 1.
