SECTION 07 3113 <br />ASPHALT SHINGLE ROOFING <br />PART GENERAL <br />1.01 SECTION INCLUDES <br />A. Installation of a new Underwriters Laboratory 790 Class A, shingle type roof system <br />including flashing and all accessories. <br />1.02 REFERENCES <br />A. Refer to the following references for specification compliance: <br />1. Florida Building Code <br />2. National Roofing Contractors Association - NRCA <br />3. Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association - ARMA <br />4. Factory Mutual Research - FM <br />5. Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. - UL <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 013 3 00 -Submittals. <br />B. Selection Samples: Complete set of color cards representing manufacturer's full range of <br />available colors and patterns. <br />C. Submit manufacturer's installation instructions, showing required preparation and <br />installation procedures. <br />D. Manufacturer's Product Data Sheets for all materials specified certifying material complies <br />with all specified requirements. <br />1.04 1 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Company specializing in manufacturing the roofing system <br />products specified in this section, with minimum 25 years experience. <br />B. Installer Qualifications: Certified or authorized by shingle manufacturer for steep slope <br />installation, certified to install enhanced warranty projects. <br />C. System application to be in accordance with the current Asphalt Roofing Manufacturer's <br />Association's Residential Asphalt Roofing Manual (ARMA) and the proceeding <br />requirements and details. <br />1.05 PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Store products in manufacturer's unopened labeled packaging until ready for installation. <br />B. Store products in a covered, ventilated area, at temperature not more than 110 degrees F <br />(43 degrees C); do not store near steam pipes, radiators, etc., or in sunlight. <br />C. Store bundles on flat surface to maximum height recommended by manufacturer.
