The Indian River Boulevard typical section east of <br /> U.S. 1 shall be available from 4the Florida Department of <br /> Transportation. The 4th Street typical section west of U.S. 1 <br /> shall be at least a five-lane urban typical with center lane to <br /> be a bi-directional left turn lane and closed drainage system and <br /> sidewalks. <br /> 10 . The intersection improvements are required for <br /> 4th Street at Old Dixie Highway. These improvements shall <br /> consist of, but not be limited to, turn lanes, drainage, <br /> structures, signalization, and signing and marking. The <br /> Consultant , shall coordinate the improvements on 4th Street at US <br /> 1 with Florida Department of Transportation' s design Consultant <br /> for the intersection improvements as required. <br /> 11. As a minimum, the Construction Drawings will <br /> include cross sections of the right-of-way at 100' intervals, <br /> based on field survey information provided by the COUNTY. <br /> 12. The survey information provided by the COUNTY will <br /> be in the form of AutoCad drawing files (AutoCad Release 12.0) . <br /> Additional controlled aerial photography as prepared by FDOT will <br /> also be provided by the COUNTY. <br /> 13 . Technical specifications are required and will be <br /> included on the construction drawings or supplied with contract <br /> documents as approved by the Public Works Director. However, the <br /> ENGINEER shall show on his Construction Drawings, all technical <br /> information and details required to construct non-standard or <br /> unusual items not covered by the technical specificationsor by <br /> • Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specifications. <br /> P P <br /> 14. Scope of Services P <br /> a. The ENGINEER recognizes that the COUNTY may <br /> have data which may be used with respect to this project. The <br /> ENGINEER will endeavor to utilize . the COUNTY' S data to the most <br /> practical extent possible on this project. <br /> b. The ENGINEER will attend up to three ( 3) <br /> conferences with the COUNTY and its representatives and other <br /> interested parties upon request of the COUNTY. Additional <br /> conferences will be billable as Additional Services. These <br /> meetings are in addition to COUNTY review meetings identified in <br /> paragraph h, below. <br /> c. The ENGINEER shall arrange for and obtain for <br /> the COUNTY, soil survey investigations, including percolation <br /> testing. In addition, borings and soil tests and the like shall <br /> be performed by an approved soils testing laboratory, to <br /> determine dewatering operations, drainage conditions, foundation <br /> conditions, suitable subgrade conditions, etc. The County must <br /> approve the testing lab being used, based on quotations from <br /> three ( 3) established firms. The ENGINEER will arrange for all <br /> such explorations and tests as part of his basic service. <br /> However, the actual costs of the explorations and soil tests <br /> shall be treated as a direct cost to the ENGINEER and paid for by <br /> the COUNTY. <br /> 4 <br />
