solving real-time problems and otherwise tracking and managing National's <br />performance, National's problem definition and escalation processes; <br />(2) a detailed description of the responsibilities to be performed by National in <br />order for National to properly complete the Deployment, including (a) National's <br />process for identifying, procuring and maintaining all necessary Consents (i.e., <br />legal and regulatory permits and approvals) for the Deployment; and (b) <br />National's proposed approach to cooperating with Third-Party Providers (e.g., <br />meter suppliers, communications suppliers), including exchanging information; <br />(3) a detailed description of (a) the technology, Equipment, Tools, office space, <br />warehouses and other physical facilities, vehicles, methodologies, procedures, <br />personnel and organization that National will use to perform the Services; and <br />(b) National's procedures with respect to the loss of or damage to Equipment or <br />Tools; <br />(4) a detailed description of the approach and activities that National will undertake <br />in respect of human resources and labor requirements necessary to perform the <br />Services, including (a) training personnel to install AMR Meters in accordance <br />with then current manufacturer's requirements; (b) training, auditing and <br />enforcing compliance of National personnel with respect to National and IRC <br />safety practices, policies and procedures relating to the Services; (c) hiring and <br />managing personnel, including administering pre-employment background <br />checks and random drug testing; (d) licensing and certification of National <br />Personnel as required to perform the Services; <br />(5) a detailed description of the approach and activities that National will undertake <br />in respect of data management and security, including (a) data security (e.g., <br />secure transmission and storage, data encryption); (b) data transfer (e.g., <br />transfer of data from field to FTP Server); (c) data storage (e.g., secure storage, <br />provision of FTP Server, provision of handheld devices); (d) data access by IRC <br />(e.g., provision of secure, web-based, real-time information on progress and <br />performance of Services such as customer information and location, and AMR <br />Meter GPS coordinates); and (e) data management and reporting (e.g., field data <br />management processes used to track, record, and capture field installation and <br />billing data, including information upload and download methods/schedules, and <br />proposed National reporting contents and schedules); <br />(6) a detailed description of the approach and activities that National will undertake <br />in respect of National contact with IRC customers, including (a) ensuring minimal <br />service disruption; (b) scheduling customer appointments in connection with <br />overall schedule for deployment and installation of AMR Meters, and <br />communicating same to IRC (c) ensuring a quality customer experience in <br />relation to the Services; (d) managing customer claims filed with IRC and (e) <br />providing a call center and related services; <br />(7) a detailed description of the IRC Responsibilities that IRC is required to complete <br />in connection with the Deployment; <br />12 <br />
