Activity <br />Tasks <br />National <br />Deliverables <br />National <br />IRC <br />the installers are <br />preparing for work. <br />• Routes are followed per <br />the owners request so as <br />not to interfere with <br />reading routes or reading <br />operations. <br />• The Lead Tech will issue <br />the routes as confirmed <br />by the office according to <br />the preapproved <br />schedule. <br />• Any and all special <br />requests or revisits for <br />recalls, complaints are <br />issued with the work in <br />the morning. <br />• Special requests are also <br />addressed for IRC Staff's <br />immediate needs — IE high <br />Bill complaint or non- <br />reading meter or unit etc. <br />• Safety procedures are <br />reviewed <br />• Inventory is validated for <br />workday installations <br />• Inventory is visually <br />inspected for defects or <br />damages <br />• Review National schedule <br />to assure no conflicts with <br />IRC Operations <br />4.2.3 Meter Installation <br />• Coordinate with IRC staff <br />for any location assistance <br />prior to entering an area <br />for installation. <br />• Installation technician <br />arrives on customer site <br />for meter replacement <br />• Technician examines <br />existing condition if meter <br />setting and takes pre- <br />installation digital photo <br />• If any evidence of Tamper, <br />technician take picture <br />and notifies IRC PM <br />• If meter is not accessible, <br />Technician takes a picture <br />and notifies IRC PM of <br />Non-Accessible meter <br />• Technician clears debris <br />(sand, dirt) from meter <br />box and/or de-waters <br />meter pit as required <br />• Technician takes photo of <br />meter reading <br />• Technical shuts main valve <br />• Support field activities <br />• Provide shut off assistance <br />if National is unable to <br />shut off service prior to <br />installation <br />• Provide location <br />assistance.
