Activity <br />Tasks <br />National <br />Deliverables <br />National <br />IRC <br />• Technician replaces <br />existing meter with a new <br />meter and radio unit <br />• Replace meter valves, <br />check valves and curb <br />stops as necessary <br />• Technician takes photo of <br />new meter install <br />• Technician restores water <br />and checks for leak and <br />verifies that there is a <br />watertight seal at the <br />meter fittings <br />• Technician mounts pit <br />receptacle to meter pit lid <br />• Technician programs MIU <br />with Supplier's authorized <br />equipment as supplied by <br />IRC and enters the data <br />into the electric format <br />and paper work order <br />• Technician cleans work <br />area and takes the post <br />installation digital photo <br />showing mounted <br />antennae and secure <br />meter box lid <br />• Technician completes <br />meter change work order <br />indicating the following: <br />customer account <br />number, read sequence, <br />install date, meter size & <br />type, new meter serial <br />number, new MIU serial <br />number, reading on old <br />meter. Technician purges <br />the water lines from the <br />outside hose spigot (if <br />available). <br />• Technician informs the <br />customer of the successful <br />installation. In the event <br />the customer was not <br />home during the <br />installation a Flush the <br />Water line notice will be <br />left at the property. <br />• National Staff will be <br />equipped with the meter <br />reading unit for the <br />selected products. <br />• National will acquire the <br />appropriate units for <br />technicians to test read <br />58 <br />
