Additional work <br />hours and weekend work will be considered on a case by case basis. <br />Contractor will have to pay for inspector's time outside of the normal County work day. <br />No blanket approval will be given. <br />Question: Can plans be provided as vectorized pdfs or cad files? <br />Answer: Yes, the Consultant will provide vectorized pdfs for bidding purposes as part of an <br />addendum. <br />Question: Can the County provide pay items on an excel spreadsheet? <br />Answer: Yes, the County will provide excel spread sheet as part of an addendum. <br />Question: Can we get the sign in sheet? <br />Answer: Yes, the sign in sheet will be uploaded to Demandstar following this meeting. <br />Question: What is the policy of the County in the case of a Hurricane event? <br />Answer: The successful bidder will be required to submit a Hurricane Preparedness Plan and <br />requires the Contractor to follow it. <br />This will be discussed in further detail at the preconstruction meeting. <br />David Gunter — Stated 72 -hour prior to a storm event the canal gates will be wide open, all <br />equipment and materials are to be removed from the Canal prior to this time frame. <br />Question: Is there a DBE requirement? <br />Answer: No. <br />Question: Why is there no bituminous adjustment required if we are following FDOT specs? <br />Answer: It is County policy to not utilize this portion of the FDOT specifications.
