>,APT I M April 3, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />Construction meeting (with permitting agencies) will be held via teleconference. The scope of work and <br />costs associated with the above referenced meetings are included in Task 2 and Task 4. <br />Task 1: Scope of Work <br />APTIM will continue coordination with permitting agencies through the issuance of the Final Order. <br />Additional comments or stipulations received from permitting agencies will be incorporated in the <br />technical specifications. The final permit documents will be added to the Bid Documents. If necessary, <br />APTIM will prepare for and lead a web -based teleconference meeting to facilitate coordination with the <br />regulatory agencies. <br />Task 1: Deliverable <br />APTIM will update the Bid Documents based on the final permits issued by the regulatory agencies. If <br />necessary, APTIM will prepare for and lead a web -based teleconference meeting regarding any <br />questions or comments from the permitting agencies. APTIM will provide the meeting minutes to all <br />participants. <br />Task 1: Schedule <br />The schedule for this task is dependent on the timing of the issuance of permits from the regulatory <br />agencies. APTIM will update the Bid Documents prior to the planned Bid Advertisement date. <br />Task 1: Cost <br />The lump sum cost for this task is $3,711.00. <br />Task 2: Bid Development, Solicitation, and Awarding <br />Task 2: Scope of Work and Deliverables <br />In conjunction with the construction plans and specifications, front-end documents are developed to <br />assist bid solicitation and award. These documents outline contractual obligations and define the <br />responsible parties and their roles. It is assumed that the County will provide their front-end documents <br />for inclusion into the bid package as in past projects. APTIM will assist the County with the solicitation <br />and award of the project. APTIM will prepare for and attend a pre-bid meeting at the County's offices to <br />describe the project and answer technical questions for potential bidders. APTIM will respond to <br />questions submitted by potential bidders via an addendum. APTIM will review the bid packages for <br />completeness. Based on the bid packages, APTIM will assess the capability of the bidder to complete <br />the work in a timely fashion; assess the capability of the bidder to perform the work within their bid amount; <br />and assess the capability of the bidder to perform the work in compliance with permit conditions, plans, <br />and specifications. Following this review, APTIM will provide the County a letter of recommendation, via <br />email, as to whether the low bidder is sufficiently responsive and capable to perform the work as required. <br />This letter will be provided within 10 days of the bid submittals. <br />Task 2: Schedule <br />The schedule of task specific deliverables is provided in the Scope of Work for this task. An overall fixed <br />schedule cannot be developed as it is unclear when the pre-bid meeting will be held and when technical <br />IRC Sector 3 — 2018006 — WO#7: Pre -Construction Services <br />
