Mr. Vincent Burke, P.E <br />July 27, 2020 <br />Page 4 <br />• Supplemental Assessment <br />o Tetra Tech recommends additional sampling at the former AST locations with samples collected <br />in the tank laydown area at two depth intervals (6 samples) for the following Analysis: <br />■ BTEX and MTBE via USEPA Method 8260 <br />• PAH via USEPA Method 8270 <br />■ TRPH via FLPRO <br />■ Arsenic via USEPA Method 6010 <br />• Organochlorine pesticides via USEPA Method 8081B <br />o Arsenic in the Tank Laydown area - Soil arsenic concentrations in exceedance of the Industrial <br />Direct Exposure SCTL are present in the Tank Laydown Area. The sample analyzed was a <br />subsurface composite sample; therefore, the location of the impact is not known. Additional <br />assessment is required to delineate the arsenic impact in this area, and will include 6 borings <br />around the perimeter of the former AST Laydown area with the following analysis: <br />■ Arsenic via USEPA Method 6010 <br />Additional delineation may be required following this sampling and is addressed in Task 7. <br />All assessment activities will be completed under the supervision of a Florida Professional Geologist, in accordance <br />with state requirements. This task will be completed on a fixed fee basis. <br />Task 4 — Closure Reporting - Fixed Fee $3,615.18 <br />A summary report of the activities conducted to close the ASTs will be completed. The report will outline the <br />details of the tank closure, sampling, and disposal, and will include all manifests and a photo log of the site <br />activities. Sampling and analysis specific to the closure of the regulated ASTs will be included. Additional <br />sampling and analytical results will be provided in the Site Assessment Report. <br />This report will be signed and sealed by a Professional Geologist. This task will be completed on a fixed fee basis. <br />Task 5 — Site Assessment Report - Fixed Fee $4,580.79 <br />A separate Site Assessment Report will also be prepared to provide the details of all findings of the soil delineation, <br />and include the following sections: <br />• Executive Summary <br />• Introduction, Scope of Services, and Limitations <br />• Background <br />• Geology and Hydrogeology <br />• Contamination Assessment <br />• Results and Discussion <br />• Conclusion and Recommendations <br />• Figures <br />• Appendices (i.e., field data sheets, laboratory analytical reports, etc.) <br />This report will also include the results of the Phase II ESA and will be signed and sealed by a Professional <br />Geologist.
