Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA) standards: Covers blood borne <br /> pathogens and other occupational exposure to health hazards. <br /> On-Going/Refresher Training <br /> The Safety& Training Supervisor will develop and maintain a Training Manual for on-going and <br /> refresher training and testing of employees. The manual will contain training course content, <br /> curriculum, lesson plans,testing requirements, etc. On-going/refresher training and testing <br /> sessions will be conducted as necessary to remain compliant with Rule 14-90. The drivers are <br /> required to attend training and testing in all areas specified by Rule 14-90 at least once every <br /> three years.All training and testing activities are to be recorded and retained in files for a <br /> minimum of seven years. <br /> Remedial Training <br /> Senior Resource Association will employ remedial training for drivers who have been involved <br /> in a serious collision or have developed unsafe driving behavior or other driving problems. Other <br /> causes for remedial training may include persistent customer complaints, supervisor <br /> recommendations, or a result of ongoing evaluations. Depending on the circumstances,the <br /> Safety&Training Supervisor will determine the appropriate remedial training and testing,the <br /> results of which will also be documented and retained in files. <br /> Supervisor Oversight of Driving <br /> The Safety&Training Supervisor and Operations Supervisors will regularly watch the video <br /> from each bus to review for safety concerns. Should an infraction be observed,the bus operator <br /> will be notified immediately and the appropriate counseling is to take place per the progressive <br /> discipline procedure. <br /> 122 <br />
