ORDINANCE 95-10 <br />Local, Minor or Res- <br />idential Streets 60 60 <br />(with swale drainage) <br />Local, Minor or Res- <br />idential (closed 50 <br />drainage, curb and <br />gutter) <br />Marginal access roads <br />40 40 <br />11'/12'*** <br />* Single-family subdivision roadway or residential site <br />plan with less than 1500 ADT. <br />** Where in conjunction with commercial site plan project <br />*** When in conjunction with heavy commercial or industrial <br />development <br />All land area requested by the county for street or road <br />right-of-way and dedicated by donation to the county, and <br />accepted by the county, after January 1, 1984, may be <br />included in acreage calculations for purposes of density <br />determination when the parcel from which the land area <br />was dedicated is proposed for development. While the <br />land area dedicated to the county may be used for density <br />calculation, this area may not be used to satisfy setback <br />requirements, site coverage requirements, open space <br />requirements or any other specific land use regulation. <br />13. Parking Lot Tire Stop Requirements. Sections 954.07(4) and <br />(5) are hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(4) General Parking Lot Design Criteria <br />(a) All required parking spaces, dumpster spaces, <br />loading areas, and other vehicular areas shall be <br />identified and marked in conformance with the <br />standards of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control <br />Devices (MUTCD) and the Federal Highway <br />Administration (FHWA) guidelines. For fully sodded <br />or stabilized parking areas that are not paved, the <br />public works director shall require applicable <br />marking and signing standards. <br />(b) Parking areas shall have no driveway aisle(s) which <br />dead ends without a backing apron which has a <br />minimum depth of five (5) feet. <br />(c) Pedestrian movement: Separation of vehicular and <br />pedestrian traffic. Parking and loading areas, as <br />well as driveways and other vehicular circulation <br />areas, shall be clearly identified and separated <br />from principal pedestrian routes along buildings <br />and at pedestrian crossings through the use of <br />curbs, pavement markings, planting areas, fences or <br />similar features designed to promote pedestrian <br />safety. <br />MAY 319 1995 <br />31 <br />BOOK 95 PAGE 248 <br />
