NATIONAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (NIMS) IMPLEMENTATION <br />In accordance with the (HSPD)-5, Management of Domestic Incidents, the adoption of the National <br />Incident Management System (NIMS) is a requirement to receive Federal preparedness assistance <br />through grants, contracts, and other activities. NIMS provides a common approach to state and national <br />response that enables responders at all levels to work together more effectively to manage domestic <br />incidents a core set of guidelines, standards, and protocols for command and management, <br />preparedness, and communications in emergency situations. <br />All Sub -Recipients must certify that they are NHVIS compliant or working towards compliance and will <br />furnish documentation upon request. All Sub -Recipients are required to complete and submit the NIMS <br />Data Collection Worksheet _Local compliance annually. <br />In order to demonstrate successful completion of task 2 for quarter 2, the Recipient must submit the <br />following items to the Bureau Chief of Preparedness: <br />DELIVERABLES <br />• NIMS Data Collection Worksheet Local, provided by the Preparedness Bureau, in the <br />month of September, will be submitted electronically by December 01, 2021 to the <br />Bureau Chief of Preparedness; <br />Reporting Requirements: <br />Quarter 1 <br />Quarter 2 <br />Quarter 3 <br />Quarter 4 <br />NA <br />Deliverables Due <br />NA <br />NA <br />
