LOGISTICS PLANNING — DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT PLAN <br />Continuing the requirement from 2020, counties will begin an update of its' Logistics Plan, a component to <br />their existing Local Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP). The Logistics plan, for this <br />agreement cycle, should focus on the distribution of commodities and supplies such as food, water, <br />generators, and tarps to survivors following a disaster. <br />Section 252.35 (2)(g), Florida Statutes, requires the Department to: <br />• Ascertain the requirements of the state and its political subdivisions for supplies and <br />equipment of all kinds in the event of a disaster; and <br />• Plan for and either procure supplies, medicines, materials, and equipment or enter <br />into memoranda of agreement or open purchase orders that will ensure their <br />availability. <br />Completion of this requirement ensures statewide resource requirements are identified. <br />In order to demonstrate successful completion of task 2 for quarter 4, the Recipient must submit the <br />following items to the Division Logistics Section: <br />DELIVERABLES <br />• Provide the updated Logistics Plan Component addressing the following: <br />■ Resource Ordering <br />■ Distribution Methods <br />■ Inventory Management <br />■ Staging areas <br />■ Transportation <br />■ Demobilization <br />Reporting Requirements (Quarter 4). <br />Quarter 1 <br />Quarter 2 <br />Quarter 3 <br />Quarter 4 <br />NA <br />NA <br />NA <br />Deliverables Due <br />Supporting Documentation: Submission of draft plan for review by Division Logistics Section no later <br />than June 30, 2022. <br />4' N* <br />TASK 3: VALIDATING CAPABILITIES <br />A. INTEGRATED PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM (IPP) <br />The Sub -Recipient shall develop and maintain an Integrated Preparedness Program (IPP) that identifies <br />a combination of exercises and associated training requirements that address priorities and build gaps <br />identified in the Integrated Preparedness Program Workshop (IPPW) and builds from training gaps <br />identified in the county assessment process. <br />The IPP is designed to consolidate the training and exercise that will be undertaken by any and all <br />stakeholders within the State of Florida in an effort to maximize opportunities to coordinate, collaborate, <br />and improve effectiveness of each stakeholder's (the Whole Community) capacity/capability when <br />responding or assisting in the response to, recovery from, and mitigation of impacts from any of the "All <br />Hazards" threats. Training and exercises play a crucial role in this strategy, providing the State with a <br />means of attaining, practicing, validating, and improving core capabilities. <br />
