2.2 Referenced Specifications <br />2.2.1 Contract Construction Administration - Contract Documents <br />This document is a subset of the overall contract that will be executed between the <br />County and the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder meeting the <br />specifications and qualifications as set forth in this Invitation to Bid.. All <br />contractual and construction requirements stated herein are included in the <br />Contract by reference but shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the <br />master contract. In the event of conflict between the master contract package and <br />these TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS., the more stringent shall apply. <br />2.2.2 General References <br />The CONTRACTOR shall be fully responsible for all hardware and documentation <br />as detailed in these TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS. <br />IFA <br />1 <br />11 <br />SECTION D <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FLORIDA FIBER OPTIC INSTALLATION <br />96-FOI-2 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />1.0 System Review & Scope of Project <br />i <br />If The work for this ;project shall consist offurnishing and installing all the necessary. <br />equipment, materials and labor for the installation of County provided fiber optic cable. The cable <br />shall be placed in the road ROW from the new .County North Tower site, in Sebastian to the <br />County Tower at Hobart road to the County Sheriffs Office. Conduits will be placed from the <br />North Tower site to Schuman & Barber intersection in Sebastian and from Kings Hwy & Hobart l <br />road into the Hobart Tower and from the eastemmost ROW line of the Sheriffs Office property <br />into the Sheriffs Office. <br />1.2 The successful bidder will be responsible to obtain the County owned fiber from the <br />storage facility, survey and gain utility clearances of the route, place conduits (30-36" below <br />grade) and pull boxes where specified in the plans, pull or plow (3642" below grade) the fiber ; <br />cable including storage and splice loops, install detectable warning tape (12" below grade), test i <br />j <br />1, <br />bare fiber cable after installation and provide GPS surveyed As-Builts to the County. <br />`. <br />2.0 General Requirements <br />2.1 Project Coordination <br />f <br />The intent of these TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS is to set minimum standards for the <br />CONTRACTOR to follow and to refer specifically to the plans sheets for direction in the <br />j <br />execution of the cable installation. <br />2.2 Referenced Specifications <br />2.2.1 Contract Construction Administration - Contract Documents <br />This document is a subset of the overall contract that will be executed between the <br />County and the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder meeting the <br />specifications and qualifications as set forth in this Invitation to Bid..
