<br />Staff respectfully recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve renewal ofthe Class
<br />E" Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for Able Transport Inc . , to be effective for a

<br />BACKGROUND :
<br />Last year, General Services requested the Board ' s approval of a contract renewal with Johnson
<br />Controls for the ,Administration Building chiller . The Board may recall that the County had
<br />initially bid this service out and had awarded the bid to York International . But, due to higher
<br />costs ($ 729/month) and a requirement by York to tear the unit down for an inspection with the
<br />County having to pick up the cost of repair at that time , staff sought out an alternative .
