d. Broom Finish: Finish same as above for floated finish to a Class B <br />tolerance and then draw a broom or burlap belt across surface <br />transversely. <br />Finishes - Unspecified <br />1. When type of finish is not specified, the following shall be applicable: <br />a. Scratched Finish: For surfaces to receive bonded cementitious <br />application, i.e. ceramic tile, single ply epoxy flooring etc., refer to <br />drawings for locations of specific floor coverings. <br />b. Troweled Finish: For surfaces intended as smooth walking surfaces <br />or for receipt of floor coverings. <br />C. Broom Finish: For exterior walks, loggias, curbs and where indicated <br />on drawings. <br />d. Float Finish: Exterior platforms, steps, stairways, landings, and <br />ramps. <br />Specific Finish Locations: <br />1. Slab areas to receive ceramic tile, resilient floor coverings, specialized <br />gymnasium flooring, or slabs within a minimum of 2 feet each side of <br />accordion doors shall be "dead level" - Class A. All other slab <br />areas - Class B. <br />Tolerances for finishes as s2ecified shall be as follows: <br />1. Class A - True planes within 1/8" in 10 ft. <br />2. Class B - True planes within 1/4" in 10 ft. <br />NOTE: Tolerances shall be measured by placing a 10 -ft. straightedge anywhere in any direction. <br />***END OF SECTION*** <br />03300-9 <br />
