CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />TERRANCE G. <br />DIRECTOR OF <br />WILLIAM F. <br />CES <br />TS ENGINEER <br />UTILITY SERVICES <br />ENGINEERING FIRM SELECTION <br />RFP FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE CENTRAL REGIONAL WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT TO 2 MGD - US -95 -23 -DC <br />On November 9, 1994, the Department of Utility Services received responses to <br />the Request for Proposal to provide professional engineering services <br />relative to the above -referenced project. The selection committee reviewed <br />the responses and selected 3 firms to be interviewed. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The selection committee interviewed the 3 firms. As a result of the <br />interviews, the firms were ranked as follows: <br />1. Camp Dresser and McKee, Inc. <br />2. Malcolm Pirnie/ H.F. Lenz <br />3. Hartman and Associates <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners authorize the Department of Utility Services to conduct <br />negotiations and proceed with an agreement with the first -choice firm of Camp <br />Dresser and McKee, Inc., based upon the outcome of the negotiations.
