Page 2 <br />53rd Street over Lateral A Canal Bridge Widening <br />Construction of 66th Avenue Roadway Widening (49th Street to 69th Street) IRC -1505 — Change Order No. 2 <br />April 12, 2022 Meeting <br />which widens 53rd Street Bridge over Lateral A Canal from 3 -lanes to 5 -lanes, changes the <br />design of the superstructure to a FDOT Standard Florida Slab Beam (FSB) System instead of a <br />Post Tensioned Prestress Bridge System, updates the bridge design to the 2021 standards, <br />modifies the pay item for the bridge to a lump sum, and adds 60 -days of additional contract <br />time. <br />Indian River County and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) have entered into a <br />Transportation Regional Incentive Program (TRIP) grant and the FDOT has approved Change <br />Order No. 2. <br />L111►[01UTO <br />Per the TRIP grant agreement, the County must fund the project and then request <br />reimbursement of the grant share from FDOTto a maximum amount of $13,247,018.00 of the <br />total cost for the project. To date, $9,019,139 has been spent from Traffic Impact Fee/District <br />11/66 1h Ave/49th-69th St, leaving a remaining expense balance of $11,248,798.
