( approximately 1600 acres. Pumping Station #3 will ultimately
serve the Roseland area to the north and west of the FEC
I
Railroad, the St. Sebastian planned unit development, the
Sebastian City area west of the FEC Railroad, north of Main
Street and south of Main Street to Route #512. Pumping
Station #3 would discharge via a 14" diameter force main into
the 20" force main to be constructed along the eastern
right-of-way line of the FEC Railroad.
Pumping Station #5 is located along Route 512 in the
vicinity of the proposed Chesser Gap development project. It
is anticipated that Pumping Station #5 will serve an area of
approximately 80 acres and discharge via a 6" force main
along the south side of Route 512 and eastward in the alley
way parallel to and south of Route 512. This will allow the
various existing and future commercial development along that
portion of 512 to discharge their sewage into the proposed
force mains by means of grinder pumps and eliminate the
present and future use of septic tanks in this area. The
proposed force main is increased from 6" to 8" in the
vicinity of the existing school pump station to provide for
the connection of the school system into the project and the
elimination of the schools existing package treatment plant.
The 8" force main then continues eastward along the alley way
and 512 and connects to the 20" force main to be constructed
- along the eastern right-of-way line of the FEC Railroad.
-19-
