ENSURING THE PROTECTION OF CIVIL RIGHTS <br />In accordance with civil rights laws and regulations, Sub -Recipients must ensure the consistent and systematic fair, just, <br />and impartial treatment of all individuals, including individuals who belong to underserved communities that have been <br />denied such treatment. <br />Sub -Recipients must complete the Civil Rights Evaluation tool within thirty (30) days of receipt of Award. NATIONAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (NIMS) IMPLEMENTATION <br />In accordance with the HSPD-5 (Management of Domestic Incidents), the adoption of the National Incident Management <br />System (NIMS) is a requirement to receive Federal preparedness assistance through grants, contracts, and other <br />activities. NIMS provides a common approach to state and national response that enables responders at all levels to work <br />together more effectively to manage domestic incidents through a core set of guidelines, standards, and protocols for <br />command and management, preparedness, and communications in emergency situations. <br />All Sub -Recipients must certify that they have achieved or are working towards achieving NIMS implementation <br />objectives. All Sub -Recipients must complete and submit the NIMS Data Collection Worksheet—Local annually. <br />To demonstrate successful completion of task 2A for Quarter 1, the Sub -Recipient must submit the following item in the <br />Division's Salesforce system: <br />DELIVERABLES <br />• The Sub -Recipient shall complete the annual NIMS Data Collection Worksheet_ Local, provided by <br />the Preparedness Bureau, in the month of September, must be uploaded into Salesforce by <br />December 01, 2022. <br />32 <br />
