There were none. <br />There being no others who wished to be heard, Chairman Adams <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously granted <br />special exception use PD Plan approval for Sand <br />Ridge Estates, subject to the conditions set out in <br />staff's recommendation. <br />TOWER SPACE LEASE AT HOBART TOWER - SAWMILL RIDGE <br />TRUCIONG COMPANY <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 3/1/96: <br />TO: Honorable Board of County Commissioners <br />THROUGH: Doug Wright, Director W <br />Department of Emergency Services <br />FROM: John Ring, Emergency Management Coordinator <br />Division of Emergency Management <br />DATE: March 1, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Sawmill Ridge Trucking Company Tower Space <br />Lease at Hobart Tower <br />It is respectfully requested that the information contained herein <br />be given formal consideration by the Board of County Commissioners <br />at the next regularly scheduled meeting. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Sawmill Ridge Trucking Company has purchased a radio system from <br />Graves Brothers, Inc., whose equipment is located within the <br />County's communications building at the base of Hobart Tower since <br />a tower space lease previously existed between the two entities. <br />Rather than assigning the Graves Brothers lease with the County, <br />staff is proposing a new lease agreement with Sawmill Ridge <br />Trucking Company with an effective date of April 1, 1996. <br />This agreement provides Sawmill Ridge Trucking Company with floor <br />space adequate for a transmitter, receiver, and accessories, and <br />tower space at 340 feet for their antenna. In accordance with the <br />antenna height/fee schedule utilized for all leases, the company <br />agrees to pay a monthly rate of $170 due on the first day of each <br />month during the term of this lease which totals $2,040 annually. <br />The funds received from non -County agencies are used to offset <br />recurring and maintenance costs associated with the tower. <br />MARCH 12, 1996 <br />36 <br />I <br />
