ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The change in ownership of the formerly owned Graves Brothers radio <br />system will have no significant effect on the operation of the <br />existing equipment within the communications building. Should the <br />Board chose not to approve the new lease, Sawmill Ridge Trucking <br />Company will be required to remove their equipment from the <br />building resulting in a revenue loss of $2,040 a year. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of the Tower Space Lease with Sawmill <br />Ridge Trucking Company with an effective date of April 1, 1996, <br />contingent upon receipt of the required insurance coverages as <br />provided in the lease. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Tower Space Lease with Sawmill Ridge Trucking <br />Company effective April 1, 1996, contingent upon <br />receipt of the required insurance coverage as <br />provided in the lease. <br />LEASE AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />FY -95/96 STATE AND LOCAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT (SLAT <br />PURCHASE OF CAPITAL EQUIPMENT <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 2/28/96: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />THROUGH: Doug Wright, Director <br />Department of Emergency Services <br />FROM: John King, Emergency Management Coordinator <br />Division of Emergency Management <br />DATE: February 28, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of FY -95/96 State and Local Assistance (SLA) <br />Agreement;.
