2. Early educators will improve the knowledge in the workshop subject area by 70 percent as <br />demonstrated in pre -workshop and post -workshop test scores. <br />• Amanda Morgan Developmentally Appropriate Practice: Why Our Children Don't Need <br />Pushing & What They Do Need Instead workshop was held on December 11, 2021- 105 <br />early educators participated. <br />• Amanda Morgan Teaching with Intention and Powerful Play was held on February 5, 2022 - <br />107 early educators participated. <br />• Conscious Discipline workshop with Kim Jackson was held on April 9, 2022 - 122 early <br />educators participated. <br />• Conscious Discipline workshop with Mandy Lloyd was held on August 27, 2022 - 123 early <br />educators participated. <br />Results: There was an average knowledge gain of 83% among professional development <br />workshop participants as demonstrated in pre -workshop and post -workshop test scores. <br />3. Adults and children who participate in five or more counseling sessions will show <br />improvement. <br />As of 9/30/2022, 9 children and 23 adults, parents or other adult in the household enrolled in <br />the Childcare Resources program were referred for therapy to the Mental Health Association. <br />• 5 adults continue services <br />• 12 adults chose not to follow through on referral <br />• 3 adults chose to discontinue services <br />• 2 adults discharged from therapies <br />• 1 child continues services <br />• 7 children (parents) chose not to follow through with referral <br />• 1 child (parent) chose to discontinue services <br />1 child discharged from therapies <br />4. Coaching program, utilization of University of Florida Lastinger Center methodology will <br />show improvement in teacher classroom interactions. <br />The Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®) is an observation instrument that assesses <br />the quality of teacher -child interactions in center -based preschool classrooms. <br />Pre -K CLASS® includes three domains of teacher -child interactions that support children's <br />learning and development: Emotional Support, Classroom Organization, and Instructional <br />Support. <br />Toddler CLASS® includes two domains of teacher -child interactions that support children's <br />learning and development: Emotional and Behavioral Support and Engaged Support and <br />Learning. <br />131 <br />
