Field Inspections or continuous control of the following procedures: <br />Stripping of top surface. <br />Scarifying and compacting cleaned sub -grade. <br />Familiarity With Pertinent Codes and Standards: in procuring all items used in this <br />Work, it is the contractor's responsibility to verify the detailed requirements of the <br />specifically named codes and standards and to verify that the items procured for <br />use in this Work meet or exceed the specified requirements. <br />Rejection of Non -Complying Items: The Architect reserves the right to reject items <br />incorporated into the Work whid-i fail to meet the specified minimurn requirements. <br />The Architect further reserves the right, and without prejudice to other recourse the <br />Architect may take, to accept non -complying items and subject to an adjustment is <br />the Contract Amount as approved by the Architect and the Owner. <br />Applicable Standards listed in these Specifications include, but are not necessarily <br />limited to, standards promulgated by the following agencies and organizations: <br />A.
