Asphaltic Pavement Replacement: Measurement of <br />asphalt pavement replacement shall be computed <br />using the linear feet as measured along the pipe of <br />asphalt removed and replaced as a result of <br />Contractor's operations. Minimum width of <br />replacement shall be as described in the <br />specifications or as shown on the plans. Unit <br />price shall include sawcutting, base and subgrade <br />materials, compaction, etc. <br />H. Grassing: Measurement of grassing (seed or sod) <br />shall be computed using the linear feet, as <br />measured along the pipe, of grassed area disturbed <br />and restored as a result of Contractor's <br />operations. The entire width of the disturbed area <br />shall be grassed. Payment shall include all <br />necessary grading, soil preparation, seeding, <br />sodding, fertilizer, mulch, and irrigation. <br />1.04 PAYMENT <br />Payment will be made at the respective contract unit <br />and/or lump sum price for each item shown in the <br />Agreement, installed and accepted, which price and <br />payment shall constitute full compensation for furnishing <br />all materials and performing all work in connection <br />therewith and incidental thereto. No separate payment <br />will be made for the preparation of record drawings. <br />1.05 RESTORATION OF DAMAGED SURFACES, STRUCTURES AND PROPERTY <br />Where pavement, trees, shrubbery, fences, or other <br />property or surface structures not designated as pay <br />items have been damaged, removed, or disturhed by the <br />Contractor, whether deliberately or through failure to <br />carry out the requirements of the Contract Documents, <br />state laws, municipal ordinances, or the specific <br />direction of the Engineer, or through failure to employ <br />usual and reasonable safeguards, such property and <br />01025-] <br />
